With any website team, work never stops - even for the festive holidays. We knew that with everyone else off work we'd be able to add some great new features to our business blogging platform ready for the start of the year ...
 there have been a lot of new developments with sblogit.com over christmas
Unfortunately for the casual reader, these changes aren't apparent. However, for our clients they are because they're all back-end changes designed to make our clients' experience far better.
We've upgraded two core systems that anyone blogging with us will see benefit from immediately:
MyPulse ...
Our business intelligence tools has been automated and anyone subscribing to the service now receives email notification of any new 'beats' we add to their MyPulse page and they should see them more often. We love finding them inspiration and they can choose to either share out new beats, or even use them to write their own blog post.
Of course we still quality check anything we find so there is normally a short delay from when we receive beats and when the client gets notification. Doing a manual quality check first lets us weed out the sales and competitor stuff and ensure that our clients always have quality links to share out or write about.
The client is in total control of the key-phrases we seach for and can make changes anytime they like using a simple web interface. Sometimes, key-phrases don't return enough links so they can easily add new ones or remove those that don't work for them. MyQueue ...
We've completely streamlined the submission process and now can accommodate multiple editors in different timezones working on our clients business blogs - all at the same time. Our plan is to have offices around the world so this makes a lot of sense as our editorial team will be able to offer 24/7 editing with publication within 1 hour. We're currently still scheduling posts on a daily basis - which go out first thing the following morning - but as our company grows, this will soon change.
From a client's perspective, they can track the exact status of their submissions, in real-time, and know when they can expect to receive the finished post. Our editors can also notify them by email at each step of the editorial process, keeping them better informed and engaged with their business blog.
At sblogit.com we're always evolving and already planning the next round of major enhancements although there are always little tweaks and changes in progress by our development team.
The next couple of weeks are earmarked for new blog building as we're getting lots of enquiries for our 30-day free trials. We have some very exciting new blogs in development and are really looking forward to sharing them with you.
