 | UPDATED FACEBOOK COMMENTING RELEASED | | | | Better engagement with your readers ... | Posted by Steffi Lewis on 08/07/2011 |
Until recently, we've been using our own commenting system on our blogs as there used to be some configuration issues with the old Facebook commenting system. This meant our clients were unable to moderate comments posted on their own blogs ...
A few clicks and a comment can now be shared with thousands of people
However, as Facebook have updated all of their social widgets recently, we've revisited the commenting system and found that it does now offer custom moderation features and we implemented Facebook Commenting to all of our clients, who have eagerly accepted this positive enhancement.
The benefit to our clients is that as soon as a comment is made, it is shown in the feed of the commenter on Facebook, allowing their own friends to reply and comment themselves, and giving blog posts additional exposure they wouldn't otherwise get.
For those Internet users who do not have an account with the world's biggest social network (now with over 750 million users worldwide), comments can be left by logging in with either AOL, Yahoo, or Hotmail. Other services will be added soon, making Facebook commenting ubiquitous, regardless of which social network a visitor chooses to use.
sBlogIt Central is dedicated to constantly improvement our blogging platform and to enhancing the experience for both our clients and their readers. Our next project is to include the Google +1 button to help with search engine ranking.
So why not try it out right now and leave us a comment?
